WSOP 2022 Moves to Bally’s on Strip

Caesars Entertainment, the owner of WSOP, has sold the Rio and will be holding the 2022 WSOP at Bally’s on the strip. At the same time, Caesars is also rebranding Bally’s to the Horseshoe by the end of 2022. Originally, the WSOP was held at the Horseshoe in the original location in Las Vegas back in 1970.

In case you are thinking of staying at Bally’s for WSOP 2022, here are some picture of the rooms from back in 2019.

As you can see, the rooms are not luxurious by today’s standards but perfectly acceptable for a place to sleep when not playing poker.

The WSOP 2022 schedule is on their website here and starts on May 31, 2022 and ends on July 18th, 2022.

Regarding my poker background, I’ve been playing since 2003 (yes, the Moneymaker factor), and have won several small tournaments, and have cashed at the main event of the World Series of Poker. I also play cash games at local casinos and sometimes at home games.
